Dear Reader

If you’re seeking alpha, you need to understand the full landscape of investment ready opportunities and it’s clear most investors aren’t. While some progress is being made, shifting the funding landscape to be one that is inclusive is still vastly lagging behind. While Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) technologies have certainly created public good, VC funding for women entrepreneurs dropped to a three-year low. Between Q2 and Q3 2020 it dropped 48% – 48% in just one quarter! In addition, only 3.8% of assets under management were controlled by diverse teams.

For corporate ventures, there’s a big role to play and a large opportunity. Their network of customers and partners, as well as overall purchasing power could propel hundreds of diverse startups each year. The potential inclusive entrepreneurship holds benefits the world and the bottom line, making it attractive for a plethora of reasons.
