Hi, I am Shreya Jain. I recently joined Capria Ventures as Director, Marketing and Communications. I come from a city that is not only known for its archeological heritage, Chandni Chowk (the most bustling lane), lip-smacking butter chicken, and crowded shopping lanes but
also for its ‘jugaad’ – frugal innovation; otherwise known as ‘hacking’ in our entrepreneur ecosystem – approach. Yes, I am talking about Delhi. Staying in Delhi over the years I have learned one thing - that jugaad is a valuable skill to have. It pushes the mind to look at a problem from all angles, think fast, and come up with a feasible and practical solution. Jugaad thinking has the potential to solve most of an entrepreneur’s problems – be it the challenges of managing a team, finances/resources, business development or possibly even fundraising. We would love to hear what’s your favorite ‘jugaad’ story.
